An ambitious owner’s program, a narrow lot, numerous zoning restrictions, and specific construction conditions and limitations were only a fraction of our “to do” list for this 2300 sf home. In addition, the neighbor’s consent and a full range of approval procedures (PAL, COA, OMB) were required before obtaining the building permit. The 2 storey front projection curtain wall with tinted glass creates a feeling of transparency and lightness. The ever changing reflection of the adjacent houses and trees gives dynamic look and contributes to the integration of this home into the existing streetscape. Spacious terraces on the third floor offer nice views and exposure.
